Skylight Music Theatre Presents: Graceful Warrior – The Concert
Graceful Warrior is a moving concert experience on the beautiful Cabot Stage featuring the orchestral music of McCanna (Mac) Sinise, performed by a 35-piece orchestra, members of the Milwaukee Jazz Orchestra, members of the Lt. Dan Band, and Skylight favorite performers, all guided by narration from Mac’s father, Gary Sinise. Mac lost a courageous fight with a rare spinal cancer two-and-a-half years ago, and this concert will be the most comprehensive collection of Mac’s music to be played live. The evening weaves together powerful compositions Mac created throughout his life, personal stories, and powerful video to support this phenomenal evening of music.
Presented in conjunction with Gary’s upcoming book, Graceful Warrior, this one-of-a-kind event offers a profound reflection on love, loss, resilience, and hope.
Proceeds from the Graceful Warrior concert will benefit Skylight Music Theatre and help ensure that powerful stories continue to be shared through music, fostering connection, inspiration, and community through the performing arts, bringing the Milwaukee community together.
