Skylight Music Theatre announces exclusive post-performance reception following Graceful Warrior Benefit on August 28 and 29, featuring champagne toasts and professional photo opportunities.

MILWAUKEE, WI (July 21, 2026) – Skylight Music Theatre is pleased to announce a special post-performance meet-and-greet with award-winning actor, humanitarian, musician, author, and founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation, Gary Sinise, following both performances of Graceful Warrior on August 28 and 29.

This exclusive experience offers audiences the opportunity to meet Gary Sinise following the concert, supporting Skylight’s mission to bring exceptional new works to Milwaukee with this world premiere concert. Graceful Warrior is generously sponsored by Fred and Leigh Tabak.

An extremely limited number of guests per evening, the one-hour event will take place from approximately 10:15 to 11:00 p.m. in the Skylight Bar. Guests will enjoy a champagne toast with Gary Sinise, receive a professional commemorative photograph, a memento to have signed, and the opportunity to personally connect with Gary.

It is also a chance to celebrate the incredible musical legacy of his late son, Mac, whose compositions reveal a remarkable depth of emotion, creativity, and spirit. We are honored to share this deeply personal evening with Milwaukee and Skylight audiences.”

Graceful Warrior is a powerful benefit concert featuring the original orchestral works composed by McCanna Anthony “Mac” Sinise and, in some cases, in collaboration with other artists. These songs will be performed together for the first time by a 35-piece orchestra on the beautiful Cabot stage and will be narrated by Gary Sinise. Through music, personal stories, and video projections, the concert honors Mac’s remarkable artistic legacy while celebrating resilience, hope, and the enduring power of love.

On January 5, 2024, Mac Sinise passed away following a more than five-year battle with chordoma, a rare form of spinal cancer. Before his passing, Mac completed an album titled Resurrection & Revival. As Gary sought to deepen his connection to his son’s artistic legacy, he discovered additional compositions Mac had written but never shared. Those discoveries ultimately led to the posthumous release of two additional albums, Resurrection & Revival: Part Two and Part Three, revealing the remarkable depth and breadth of Mac’s musical voice and talents. Resurrection & Revival: Part Three will be released on July 17th.

Following the July 2025 Skylight Rocks benefit concert for Skylight Music Theatre by Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band, Graceful Warrior marks Gary Sinise’s return to Milwaukee for another unforgettable evening supporting Skylight’s artistic mission.

The concert will build anticipation in advance of the official November 10, 2026, release of Gary Sinise’s upcoming book, Graceful Warrior, which chronicles his family’s journey through Mac’s illness and the strength, grace, and inspiration they found along the way. November 10th would have been Mac’s 36th birthday.

Meet-and-greet tickets are $150 per person and must be purchased in addition to a ticket for either the August 29 or August 29 performances of Graceful Warrior. Availability is limited. Night and advance purchase is required.
