Pawditions: Open Dog Auditions

Skylight Music Theatre is casting a community dog for a featured walk-on role in our Wisconsin World Premiere of A ROCKIN’ Midsummer Night’s Dream!
Bring your pup to the Cabot Stage for a joyful, tail-wagging casting call. The role calls for a confident canine who can obediently walk across the stage with its owner — no acting experience required.

All pawditioners must be leashed at all times and be able to safely be around other dogs, people, and loud environments.
Casting Expectations
If your dog is cast, both dog and owner should expect to be at every performance running April 10-26 from approximately 8:00-9:30pm. You must arrive by intermission and stay through curtain call. Dog and owner must be present at a few early rehearsals throughout March 17 - April 6, with mandatory attendance April 7-9 from approximately 7:30-10:00pm.

Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute is the ultimate tribute to the music of ABBA – sure to capture the hearts of fans and audiences of all ages! This live show is full of musical precision, fabulous flair and fashion, and promises a mesmerizing ABBA experience for every Chiquitita, Super Trouper, Fernando, and Dancing Queen around!
Fronted by a dynamic Agnetha and Frida duo, the music of the greatest pop band in history comes to life in a joyful celebration of these timeless tunes. Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute is the Midwest’s long-standing resident ABBA tribute, with a repertoire of over 40 all-time favorite hits. From Waterloo to Mamma Mia, S.O.S. to Knowing Me, Knowing You, Honey, Honey to Voulez-Vous, audiences won’t be able to help singing and dancing along with their high-energy homage to everything ABBA!
Midsummer in Newtown Documentary Screening + Talkback
March 30, 6 PM
Featuring Artistic Director Michael Unger and as a preview to Skylight's upcoming production of A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream, please join us for a screening of Midsummer in Newtown. This documentary is testament to the transformative force of artistic expression to pierce through the shadow cast by trauma. In the wake of the Sandy Hook tragedy, one grieving couple honors their daughter through music, while community children find their voice through a rock-pop version of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Audiences are invited to take part in a talkback following the screening.
