Just in time for the holidays, Skylight presents this joyous and heartwarming musical Oliver! This Skylight premiere is a captivating musical version of Charles Dickens’ classic novel, 'Oliver Twist'.
Based on one of the greatest stories ever written, the show is filled with unforgettable characters, humor, dancing, drama, and a whole lot of heart. All that and two dozen of Milwaukee’s finest youth performers, Oliver! promises to be a show that the whole family can enjoy again and again during this holiday season.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
Production length: 2 hours and 30 minutes with a 15 minute intermission
PLEASE NOTE: Oliver! is a captivating family musical that offers a delightful blend of music and humor. However, in staying true to the original novel by Charles Dickens, the production also incorporates some dramatic themes.
This performance contains a small amount of safely staged, simulated violence, an inoperable stage weapon, loud sound cues, theatrical haze, and strobe lights. Additionally, there are two deaths portrayed - one onstage and one offstage.
Rest assured, we have carefully crafted these scenes to be suitable for younger viewers while maintaining the integrity of the story.
